Joy ride - BMW Isetta

BMW Isetta, nick name "Rolling Egg" (Goon-Tan in Mandarin..Hahhaa).

Believed it or not, we got one in Brunei! It had always seem like an old piece of junk antique to me, but I had never guess that it still can be driven.

After lunching at Ye's office, we all nothing to do chit-chat there. Then Ah-Heng uncle and Ping Ping were discussing about giving what new colour to the antique, giving the old BMW a new look. Last one they discussed were the colours on Brunei Flag~ Patriotic huh!

Action is better than talking, so we all kaypo kaypo go see the car which was just parked outside beside my car. And I wanted to take pictures and blog about it.

The two annoying cute sisters blocking my view everytime when I tried to take a nice shot of the car

And Ping volunteered to be the car model.

Don't worry, I'm not going to scare you all with her face, yet. Takut later you all close the window and exit from my blog. So, I show you the car first.

Wah Seh, open-roof somemore. Kiasu hor!
(That's Ye starting the car)
Ye = Eileen Yeye = Auntie Eileen = Lunch Provider of mine

Inside the car

It might be small, but it has everything oh.
(Please click for a larger image)

It is a Manual transmission car, having 1 speed only.
Push the gear upward to move forward,
and push downward to gosdang (meaning reverse).
(Most of our mum use the word "Gosdang" rather than reverse.. And I don't know where does it comes from?)

The car door is at the front of the car, no left or right door, only FRONT door. And the steering wheel and the speed meter is attached to the door too. Funny design isn't it?

The Speed Meter or whatever you called it.
The max. it can goes is 60mph.
Not bad already what, it's a "lau-yeh" car after all.. Cannot expect so much la
Yeye jumped up the car and Chau squeezed in too. They're going for a ride!

Chau looked Happy !

Then she remembered what Ye says about the brake..
yeap, you guess correctly, it's NOT working!
The only way to stop the car is to pull the hand brake.

I wonder if she ever feels worry in the car. You see ah, since the door and the steering wheel is attached together,in front somemore, jumping down the car is like.. suicide, later kana langgar from the back of the car! Haha

Here's a video of their joy ride. It's just a short clip/trip anyway.
(See the idiotic Pingko trying to push the car)

Ok folks, still want to continue reading?

Remember I mentioned bout the volunteer car-model?
I'm going to post her pictures liao lo.

I have to because she SMS me this...
(I'm kind-hearted, I don't wana disappoint her ba)

Say me "Don't want face", who more teruk now?

Err, I named her "Duno Who" because I don't know that that is her number last time. I only know that she's one of FT circlings. So I save her as "Duno Who".

And if you're still reading this, don't say I didn't warn you oh. She's "haram". Haha.

(Still scrolling down?)

* Ta-da *

My Car Model, Miss "Don't-Want-Face", Tang Lee Pig, oops..
It's Tang Lee Ping. (My bad, on purpose :-p)

Told you she's "haram" already what. Must "mosaic" her face

See, si-beh "hao-lien".
Don't worry, we always fight like this,
must suan each other baru song one.

This is her sister, ChauChau, laughing at me when I nearly fall down from the car.
She pushed the car when I was walking down and nearly tripped myself. So bad one!
She know I'm going to "mosaic" Ping's face hia? Revenge ah?

Ok la, ok la.. I feel bad and guilty mosaic and putting black strip on her eye la..
Nah, you people, if you really wanna see how she look like. There you goes...

To remedy my prank, Ping, I'm going to compliment you. Get ready ah,

(Please do not read the strike out word~!)

Ping, you're the most disgusting sweetest girl I'd ever met who loves to eat ginger & chilli. You have the greatest smile I ever see with all the seaweed stuck on it. You are so tall but flat. You such an angel towards the little kids but a mean devil to me. I love to see you fall down so much. Promise you that I'll leave the best food for you next time cos I want you to get FAT!. Muahahacks

cool car! but i'm sure that it'll never make it onto S'pore's roads. It'll take too many permits to get such an old car to be 'road-worthy' here...
