It's better to give than to take

plaLying on the chair while waiting for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th cycle of the Plateletpheresis in the Oncology department, I certainly felt blessed that I'm a healthy person who is fit enough to be an Apheresis Donor.

It was my... third time going through the same process in the same hospital. I remembered once an auntie told my mum this after my first platelets donation, "Your daughter very good oh, donate the blood (there's a lot of people out there who don't know the difference the between donating blood and platelets) . Abuthen har... so scary one, seems like your daughter's blood group very soi (bad), so many people with that blood type got cancer one!"

Seriously, sometimes I feel like strangling those aunties... but, they can be quite cute because of their bluntness.

Well, at least for now I'm aware of my blood type and... I sort of compiled a list of names of people (I know) who has the same blood type as me. You know, just in case if anything, *touchwood* happens...

I don't know why some people are so afraid of syringe........ and dentist... and cockroach ...and harmless bugs....

(Crap! I think I'm the odd one out here or.. abnormal for being "The Brave One".... No wonder Bobby always complained that I'm not feminine/gentle enough and in fact, I'm the one protecting him from spiders. Sigh, now everyone knows who's the MAN in our relationship)

I often found myself looking the whole injecting process. I also like visiting the dentist (because I know I have a lot to "fix")... it's just that getting a dental appointment in the Seria clinic is not as easy as writing 一二三.

Oh by the way.. when the nurse pump air to the blood pressure measuring thingie and asked me to squeeze my fist hard, she gave out a surprising "WOWWWW" when looking at my veins.

I was like, "Wow good, or wow bad?"

"Good! Its beautiful."

LOL! The first time I received compliment for my blood veins. HAHAHHAHAA. Once the other syringe connected to the machine was inserted in, my blood gushed out and once again, the nurse said... "Beautiful!". I guess she sees the whole process as ART.
