My notebook organizer
Short note:
Hits dropped. Comments dropped.
So what's next? I guess it's just me losing my quirkiness.
Everything is so blah and normal now, and the exciting part of my life is forbidden to appear in my blog.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Woo-kay. I know it has been a long time since I last made something and shared it with with you all. But sorry to disappoint you again, I didn't make anything interesting or makeover any furniture.. Just going to show you my notebook organizer, that I customized myself.
=)

Last December when I was out shopping for an organizer, I realized either they're too costly, too boring (either all black, all brown or all red) and I just don't like how the pages were divided and even their line spacing.
Me heart big line spacing.
Me no like narrow spacing.
Me handwriting small but me like to write like beanies floating in the air.
How about those free ones from insurance company or banks?
Erm... Those that I got for free that time was just too bulky and again, I don't like the contents.
I mean, I'm okay with the calendar, measurements, country codes and even world map. But I don't like to be preached or brain-washed by those company's plan and products plastered with advertisements and pictures of happy family portraits.
So I came up with an idea.
I'll just buy a normal notebook and customize the content myself.
I bought a notebook (picture above) from Popular Miri and it only cost me RM7.00. A notebook with cute cartoons and wonderful colours.
Flipping in

I just love that picture of mine.
Taken last year by my ex-colleague during the Hari Raya celebration.
My favorite page

I sticked the year planner in it so I can constantly refer to it whenever I need to plan ahead, either for work or leisure. Loved by my friends and colleagues too.
And I drew squares and boxes and made them into a calendar planner.

which is good, because you can judge yourself how you want it to be. I don't like those pre-printed calendar planner because their boxes are too small for me. I have no idea how people squeezed in their handwritings in such tiny squares, unless they're just jotting their friends and families birthday.

Yeap, I keep record of my expenses, whether its only a $0.50 parking ticket, $0.30 keropok or my monthly premium and installments. And you'll be surprise how much you tend to spend on silly things by the end of the month when you total it up.
Two words, FREAK OUT!
So there, my customized notebook organizer.
Hope you enjoy it.
p/s: I'm meeting the fat guy tomorrow to celebrate our belated anniversary. And now I still have not work on the card! Somemore.. I'm meeting up with friends tonight. Boh dui.... Mati.

As you can see, I made a pocket and sticked them there and use it as my recycle bin. I cut those unwanted A4 papers (with only one side printed/ used) into halves and use them as scrap paper. Hello, Recycle, Reduce and Reuse are my best friends. I think most of the companies practice such fabulous habits too.
I tell you, those papers come in handy when you need to scribble someone's contacts or doodles when stuck in a something or somewhere, just to pass time. No need to tear any pages from your books or organizer. Sayang bah.

Grinchandar's Mountain
Last week Liza text me and asked if I was free last Tuesday and I said yes. The plan was having a pot luck dinner over at the Grinch's place and it got postponed... and postponed... and postponed. Until last Saturday, which happens to be Grinch's off day.
But, one hell of a busy day for me.
I rushed to the nearest supermarket and bought the ingredients to make the Rose Sandwiches, then rushed back home and fried the eggs, baked the corn chicken, sliced the bread, toasted it and rolled things up.
Lucky Liza even got extra time to nap!
My Elegant Rose Sandwiches
I arrived Liza's place at 7.15pm and her eldest son was the one who greeted me at the door (His mummy still showering bah..). Aaron was so cute lah, he showed me his Spiderman's colour pencil set and the Mother's Day card he made in school.. even though it was spelled "HAPY MOTT DAY". And... he squashed one of my rose sandwich *cries*, he's too fast to stop.
That boy ah, act so cute and innocent again asking me... "What is this?". And just when I answered his question, his palm terus slammed on the tray and flattened my rose.
Eh auntie, your son's favorite hero shouldn't be Spiderman lah, I think he'll like Flash more.
We're the first to arrive Iskandar's place. Sigh, something is wrong nowadays... Why ladies are the one waiting for men huh? Then came Safarul, Affy and Qamaruz and Ali.
See... young teenage boys.
Malu or not let auntie and kakak waited so long?
Hahahhahahahhaha!
So while waiting, I asked Isk to tour me around his mansion, and touch his expensive furnitures. I like his house, very simple and neat. Not much of colorful carpets, furnitures and vases. Err, not very safe for kids though. And also, people who has acrophobia surely will hate it. His railings on the first floor is not made of steel or wood... but glasses, ONLY!
I had the urge to jump on it and roll but of course, it wouldn't be nice and also.. he said no when Liz asked. But the pillars are so kiasu that it feels nice to hug around it.

Couldn't help but think that it might be used for other purposes.
*wink*
Liza made baked potato and chicken, rose sandwiches from me and Iskandar prepared the most, pasta with bolognese sauce, mixed vegetable with hearbs and also catered food like rice, rendang, curry, and mango fish!

*stare at tummy.... Sigh*

We had a wonderful time chit-chatting and sharing "informations". We even joked that this is our mini-KB-bloggers-night. Quiet night with no distraction but food and laughters only.

And we all learned a new phrase from the journalist, "Emotionally slutty". Quote from Carrie, Sex and the City. Referring to someone likes to share everything he/she knows, whether or not it is his/her personal stuffs or other's privacy.
That bunch of guys very teruk. They went on and on sharing ghost stories, scenes from those horror flicks and kept telling me that the road which I would use later has "friends from the other world" waiting for victims....
And it was pouring outside!
Wind pounding hard and trees swaying left and right with skeleton-hands like shadow
In the end, Ali (who happens to live in Seria too) escorted me back.
Damn touching lah.
It was raining so heavily that even with my wiper in its fastest speed couldn't swipe the rain water in time. We're all driving at 40 to 60km/hr only. It was really scary.

The Robe, the cap and the Graduation Bear
Actually there were a lot of things that happened last Friday but I thought it wouldn't be nice if I blogged about it because it involved other people whom wanted to keep a secret.
So... ssshhhhH!!!!!
- I have great, fabulous and stouthearted colleague who isn't afraid to fight for what she thinks is right and I'm proud of her and admire her courage.
Mm... Yeah...
I met the Lims at around 1.30pm, went in their hotel room and we took turns to get dress. It wasn't as awkward as I thought, in fact.. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. And by the time everyone was ready and made a move to his campus, Mother Nature decided to pull a little joke on us.
We were all stranded in his car from the heavy downpour, waiting and praying for the rain to stop so that he could wear his graduation robe and took photos in the campus for bitter-sweet remembrance.

And finally almost 30 minutes later, the sky slowly cleared up and tiny bit of rays shone through.

He took out the robe from a plastic bag and wore it.
Bright pink.. =D

A friendly note to passersby, I'm sorry if you're getting sick seeing his face in my blog. Just to remind you again, this IS my blog and he is a very important person to me. You might not like him, or me.. but it is no concern to me. Sekian. Keep those emotions to yourself, you need not express it here.

I bumped into Steffi that day too! It was quite a big surprise for me because I thought she was still working in BSB and had no idea that she had quited to pursue her studies. I admired her courage and also her relationship with her boyfriend. It's never easy to maintain a relationship for a long term don't you think?
(Hi Steff! I know you're reading this and I regretted not taking a picture with you... Sigh.)
Fast forward 2 hours later, we arrived Imperial's Ballroom as Bobby wanted to take his graduation photos there. The ceremony started at 7.00pm and we're already reached there at 4+ pm.

I asked him if he preferred a teddy bear or a bouquet and he answered both, because he had never received any of those. Greedy pig. So I intended to buy him those teddy bouquet while he was having the photo shoot session.
Erm.. I wasn't very happy about the blood-sucking photo studio too. They charged Bobby an extra RM80 just to have his sister in the family portrait. I repeat, extra person.. not extra shot! They claimed that "Family" only includes father and mother.
How great.

Those bouquet cost RM100+, which was more that what I can afford with the leftover RMs in my wallet. So I opted for a single stalk teddy, which is going to be cheaper.
I asked the girl who was working there for the price and she answered RM28. But later she turned her head and asked her colleague/ lady boss to confirm the price and the lady said "Ching-chai lah, 20 also can".
I turned the teddy-stalk around looking for flaws, because.. the sudden $8 discount seems kind of fishy. Without filtering much using my brain, I asked the lady if its dirty or what. I swear, I asked in a nice way and not trying to sound like those fussy lady asking for discount again. My friends should all know that I'm terrible in bargaining and I don't like to bargain, because I had bad experiences when I worked as a salesperson few years ago.
She explained because of the colour combination, using an impatient tone.
The teddy was brown in colour and the wrapping paper was cream.
I stood there and thought again if I should buy it, just when I was about to reach for my wallet in my bag... the impatient lady snatched the teddy from me and claimed,
*Grrrrrrrrr*
How impolite!
Of course, it totally spoiled my day and I walked away.
I told Theen andSL about this and they said its my own fault for asking "why is it so cheap? Dirty ah?" and said I should have straight away grab it if there's nothing wrong with the product and pay. -__-"
Whatever happens to "Consumer Rights".....

I was so not used to their system. I couldn't believe that they only get to rehearse 30mins before the ceremony started! The graduates were asked to go into the ballroom while parents and friends were still waiting outside, the MC gave them a rough idea how to do it and asked a couple of students to "test run". If I'm not wrong, not more than 10 graduates went up for the rehearsal.
Such a big contrast compare to Brunei.
I remember that we had rehearsals 3 days before the convocation. All students were asked to stand in line and went up the stage and performed what were asked to do, making sure that no one will make any mistakes while getting our certificates from His Majesty or His Royal Highness.

Like what I mentioned in the previous post, I didn't get to see Bobby going up the stage and received his certificate because I had to rush for the borders... And Cheh-Cheh Lim's camera battery died just when he's up there. Sad huh?
Just hope that the official photographer did snapped a nice photo of him.
p/s: I wore his robe just for the thrill of it and I don't know if I should post it up.

The Lims and Me

Found this label in his cap and...

,laughed at the thin red line on his forehead.

"I heard people with bigger head are smart, are you?"

Filler
I'm very tired now...
Tad disappointed because I didn't get to see Bobby going on stage receiving his certificate due to the reason I had to rush back Brunei crossing borders before 10pm.
Driving alone at night is no fun, what's more to say when it's in MIRI.
NONNIE ALONE DRIVING AT NIGHT IN MIRI!
You want pictures?
Bah....

What?
You're not leaving until you see faces of humans?
Haiyooo.. you guys are getting more and more demanding leh.

What? Faces of people what?
I give you more than just one face leh...
Okay okay.
I know I was being mean keep teasing you guys.
You know lar, when someone gets really tired, they tend to be a little cuckoo.
See,
picture of cheh-cheh Lim, Bobby and me..

Happy now?
Can I go sleep now?
I'll try to edit those pictures tomorrow and blog them up in time.
A lot bah!

(Er... Can't think of a title for this...)
Hi peeps, just a short update.
I have nothing interesting to blog today because I had a busy day. I'm just blogging because I WANT TO blog daily and I'm keeping my record.
Bobby's convocation is tomorrow.
Finally the fat guy is graduating, I'd long for this day for as long as I can remember. No more 30cents SMS, no more crossing borders just to meet up.
He wanted me to wear something formal... something I had not worn in a while. OL look... I took out all my shirts and skirts, put up a fashion show and.... put them all aside.
Sigh. Why all girls, even some guys have to go thru that?
Key word...INDECISIVE!
So I'm down to a beige dress.
Let's just hope that I won't change my mind again tomorrow morning.
Pictures coming up!

New "Shoes"

Previously I had friends who asked me via MSN about the flowers Jamilla is making/ selling. The size, the price, the selection of colour and "Do those flowers look nice in real life?".
I was able to answer all except for the last bit because, to be honest.. I had never seen those flowers with my own eyes and touch with my hand.
But now I can tell you with confidence, YES! THEY DO LOOK NICE IN REAL LIFE! What you see is definitely what you get! I dropped by Xiang's (Jamilla's Chinese name... I'm used to calling her that) house picking up the flowers delivered to Sze Li and also the one for my mum.
They look really good, honestly.
As you can see, you can either order only 1 stalk, or a bouquet made up of number of stalks you want. The above bouquet is made up of 3 stalks of roses, and they're so cute because of their miniature size. Very cute and friendly size that you won't have trouble keeping.
Back in the days when I received flowers from guys, one of the thing that really bother me was the size of those bouquet! Yes, it's flattering to receive a big bouquet and very got "face" too, but... thinking of a place to keep them is a problem.
They stayed fresh for few days (maximum) and wither. So what are you going to do with those dried up brownish flowers that petals might scattered all over the place later? I'm sorry but I'm not that romantic to hang them upside down, and let spiders make a sweet home out of it. I chucked the flowers again (because they stink!) and kept the wrappers.
Anyway, what I was trying to say was... Even if you're on a low budget, no worries... Just get a small bouquet like that which will cost you less than B$10.00 and the flowers will stay blossomed through out the whole year.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One more thing before I blog about my main post, in case you didn't realized again.. I'd put up the links again.
Check, under "Kingie Linkies".
It is an expand/ collapse list which you just need to click at the space in front of the letters to either expand or collapse the list. I know.. clicking space is weird, but I still can't figure the javascript yet. Gimme time.
I think its a fabulous idea!
Those of you who clicks on links through my blog, happy now?
Those who don't, you won't be seeing links if you don't want.
Yeah, win-win situation.

Okay! Finally I can blog what relevant to my title.
So today I went shopping, and spent B$320.00. Unbelievable, I know. But it was a necessity, I'm not going to put my life in danger just to save money. I am frugal, but I love my life too.
I went in this dark little shop and told them what I was looking for. The first thing the boss said to me was, "Kamu Cina kah?".
He gave me a price and told me that's the lowest he could give and I remembered James telling me the price range. So I agreed and got it fixed.
What was I buying you ask?
Shoes. Rubber shoes, for Corrie.

Ya, that kind of "Rubber Shoes".
So far that tyre shop has the lowest price compare to those that I heard off.
B$80 for Bridgestone. Good deal right? I changed all four tyres thus the grand total B$320.00, nett price inclusive of this and that.

Corrie is 2 and a half years old now and I had not buy her any shoes... until one day a mechanic friend told me its time to get them change because "botak" already.

I don't want to wait till the tyres got swollen and eventually burst, then the next thing you see is long "slice" of tyres while driving along the highway.
Like I said, what also can "karit", but I am not going to put my life in danger.

I worked in a workshop before as a general clerk and I have a lot of mechanic friends. In my opinion, I think mechanics are cute. They are humble because they think that they're lowly educated thus they tend to speak to people with more respect, of course... with a lot of foul languages in between too.
I picked up the wackiest and "roughest" line from there. You know, private parts and sending regards to parents that sort of line... I don't think I need to emphasize here.
Keeping my blog G-rated, suitable for all ages.
Or at least, PG... Parental Guidance Advice.

Rims... Something that I will never understand.
I salute women who can name all car models, manufacture date and all those specs! I think girls like that are cool, equivalent to guys knowing what to add into their curry.. Santan, yoghurt or milk.
30 mins later...

Neh, I don't speed.
Conserve fuel and also tyres. Pick that mindset from Bobby and started to drive 80km/hr and max 110km/hr.
*yawn*
Am sleepy now.
One last thing to blog.
Something I noticed when buying drink from the kedai runcit beside the tyre shop.

So... Keropok comes in PEC.
And, if 50cents means $0.50, then...
0.90 cents is
$0.009!!!
What are you waiting for? Go get them now!
HAHAHHAHAHAHHA!!!

They're not that free
Short Note:
Erm... No one realized kah?
No one realized all the links at the sidebar is gone?
Anyway, in case you have not notice.. I had moved all the links to another page due to the reason I can no longer tahan seeing such a long list. I even felt like its going to break my monitor soon since I'm linking people up in such a fast-breaking speed.
You just need to click on the tab above (at my header) and there are all there. Just drop comments if you wish to be linked.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I overheard a very interesting conversation between a middle-aged mother and her secondary 4 son today. No I wasn't eavesdropping, they were talking really LOUD! Foochows maybe..
Mom : I tell you ah, the basketball thing hold first, I don't want bla bla bla bla bla bla (I wasn't concentrating)
Son: .....
Mom: How later? You wait for me or what?
Son: I go eat myself. You give me money.
Mom took out wallet and..
Son: Just give me that $10
Mom: Why you need so much for lunch? Just eat kolomee can already. No need $10
Son: I wanna go xxx restaurant.
Mom: Don't go there, the food there not as nice as before.
Son: .....
Mom: *sniffs* You smoke again is it?
Son: No I didn't.
Mom: You don't lie to me ah, I don't like people lying to me..
Son: ...
Mom: Tell me honestly, did you smoke? Past is past, I forgive you. I know last time you smoke, tell me frankly now, did you smoke justnow?
Son: I didn't...
Mom: About the basketball thing... See! Once I mentioned basketball your eyes become large and shine. I tell you, I'm going to talk to your principal about it..
Son: I don't want. I go talk to him myself.
Mom: I don't trust you, I go find him tomorrow.
Son: I tell you I will talk to him myself. That's it.
And.. the son walked off the room.
It was quite awkward as apart from her Filipino staffs, I was the only Chinese there who understand what they're talking. The lady boss (the boy's mom) smiled at me and just said,
"Sigh... Everytime also like that. Haven't finish talking then walk away liao.."
I smiled back and nodded, "What level in your son in now?".
"Form 4. Everyday go home, turn on the pc and ignore everything else.."
"Its like that lah auntie. I'm also like that. Glued to the monitor for hours."
"But at least I believe you how to manage your time ma... My son... sigh."
.

It was my first time meeting this woman and her son, but its not hard to see that the situation they're in now is what every parents will face, facing or faced, teens hitting the rebellious stage in their life.
I love kids. They're cute in their own ways, naive and innocent.
I want to have my own biological children and be a mother for real.
But the thought of coping with a pre-teen fills me with dread.
Sometimes I'm glad that I'm posted to a primary school instead of secondary because primary school kids are all so cute. Yes, even the naughty ones have their unique adorable side awaiting for us adults to discover.
My favorite level of all time is... Primary 1. They know how to take care of themselves already, raising their hands if they need to go to the loo. They're like a piece of blank paper waiting for us to give them colours. So so so so so adorable! (There's one particular girl that I wish I can bring home and just look at her. TOO CUTE!!!)
Looking at teenagers... sudden change of height, weight and their voices and also behaviour. Parents can no longer hold their hand when crossing the road because "malu if my friend see!" and asking them how's their school work makes you feel like you're interrogating James Bond, you can't get their mouths open and when this suspect of yours finally talks.., its either they want a new mobile phone or they need money for paying books or go cybercafe.
I wish to tell the auntie that she could have learn how to use a computer and bring their relationship closer, at least.. she knows what is her son up to hogging the monitor till late night.
I will cry and kow-tow to my beloved Buddha if my mum knows how to send a SMS!
And every time I heard stories from a friend regarding her younger sister, it made me want to rush to her house and slap her. Two words, kurang-ajar. which best describes most of the pre-teens nowadays isn't it?
I have no idea why is it SO important to own that $800+ mobile phone when she's only in secondary 3. I have no idea why she keeps cutting her hair short till, sometimes we all thought our friend has a brother instead of sister when she knows her mother is going to get so mad for it. And.. I have no idea why is it so hard to obey their parents when they themselves know its for their own good....
(That was also the time that I feel lucky that I'm the only child, else I think I'll die due to loss of blood because of too much puking. Vomit-blood, geddit?)
Sometimes we talked about this issue and wonder, were we too stupid back in the days being less demanding and took whatever given or, kids nowadays are too lucky growing up in this era?
I remembered the only time that I was really really really mad at my mom was because she force.. okay lah, made me joined the FT youth camp and I had to miss the last gathering that all my best friends farewelled the guy that I secretly admired for years! They took so many photos together, sent him off at the bus terminal and waved him goodbye.. They even played Truth Or Dare the night before! Roooooaarrrrrr!!!! It could have been my last chance to confess, or even earn a hug from him eh.
So ya, I didn't talk to my mum for several... hours, because I had to ask her when was dinner ready and I was very very hungry! I certainly have no idea how those people can protest by starving. Come on la.. you want to go on strike also choose a method torturing your enemy, and not yourself what.
One of the reason I envy my friends who got married at a young age and popped out their first baby when I was still schooling is because, the generation gap between them won't be that far. Imagine them bringing their daughters out.. those salesperson will goes like, "This one your younger sister ah? Hah?! Your daughter? Cannot be lah, you look so young.. I think you're only 30+ , no no no, make it at most 27 only ah...."
-_____-"
I want to be a cool mum who is up-to-date, learning all the latest technologies, follow news and gossips of their favorite idols, teach the girls how to protect themselves by giving them proper sex education (leave the son to their papa), and bring them to spa and saloon and enjoy everyone's attention. Hhahahhahaa.
And I hope I can stop repeating them stories of my glory days, if any.
Teens out there, no matter how long-winded your parents are, please remember.. everything they do or say is all for your own good. You think they too free have nothing to do so give birth to you just to quarrel with you is it?
Bringing you to the hospital when you're sick, making sure you can pass your exams, if they can't teach you themselves, they'll work extra hard just to earn money for your tuition fees. Buying you whatever you want if necessary provided they can afford it. Spent so much money on you and all they get in return is your "Go away. Leave me alone".
If you think that they're being unreasonable to you, controlling your life and yelled "THEY DON'T TRUST ME!", think again... Have you ever break your promise, hurt them and make them worried? What have you done to gain their trust?
Trust me, I believe if our parents have a choice, they'll love to set us free and live the life they always wanted. And not keep looking at the clock, worrying where have you been and sit in the living room waiting for you to return home.
It's not only responsibility that have keep our parents going, its their unconditional love.

Seria Bazaar 08
Plug of the day:
I'll be there though. *wink*
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I bet most of you peeps had thought that I had a blasting night last Saturday celebrating last weekend. Sadly, my life is never that happening as you all imagined. Most of my Saturdays and Sundays were spent either watching Astro-marathon, play lami with the gang or go BSB with them if any of them happened to have something to do there.
Last Saturday was different. I knew that there was a bazaar going on in Seria town and wanted to check it out so I asked Theen and SL to go with me..
How pathetic. I only have 2 friends to ask out on a Saturday night.
(FussyKelly was celebrating super advanced Mother's Day with her family)
Some more I was the one driving because one was lazy and the other one, didn't even bother to ask because I'm always the driver.
SL asked us to park the car at his house and walked to the town because its impossible to find parking at that time. Err... his place is just 10 mins walking distance from the town, mine is 15 - 20 mins. Just like walking from Nyonya Gadong to the Mall.

I can't remember when was the last time we walked together at night like that, perhaps in 1999. The good old "finished O'level and had nothing better to do days" and us like poklens hanging around aimlessly.
But it was fun. SL was shocked that one of the road sign's height is now up to his chest. He said that he used to langgar his head to the road sign and got extra careful. And I was like, "Ya lah ya lah... You taller liao lar. Want to take picture for memory or not?". Told you, I'm mean to my close friends.
We made the right choice. The parking lot beside the old-vacant-cinema was full of cars exhibiting their sound systems or funny blue lights... which I really don't understand.
Don't laugh! Initially I thought that those wooden sticks are natives blowpipes (used for hunting with poisoned needles) and I was expecting the seller to say that cool answer too and I'll ask whether I can try it out. I was tad disappointed when he told me they're walking sticks.
I mean, so short... for babies kah?
Speaking of babies, look at this poor boy...
It was so hot and humid there I bet he just got tired after crying asking to go home. Lucky him, being able to fit in a carriage and no need to walk.
One of my secret wish is to have a shopping cart big enough to fit an adult, so that I can sit in it and ask Bobby to push me around. Then I just need to use my magic finger and point at the things I want to buy and he has to put it inside the cart. HAHHAHHHHHAHA!!!
This, baru call SHOPPING QUEEN!
Other than stalls selling miscellaneous stuffs, there were also performance for the shoppers to view. Like... New-style-Chinese-dance with a pop song?

48, both Theen and SL said seeing them feel like us when we're in form 5!
Sigh...
Anyway, I was asking one of the girl's relative
Me: 她不怕嗎?Eh, she doesn't feel scare meh?
Him: Ah?
Me: 她不怕丟臉嗎?Scared of embarrassment.
To be honest, I don't think I have the courage to dance in front of so many ma-lak-lou (cantonese- rough looking men) eyes big big looking at me and using their handphone taking pictures don't know for what purpose. And... I'm afraid of people saying, "Eh, I saw you dancing in front of Seria Plaza there leh that night.. Not bad wor. How much they pay you har?"
Ma Lak Lous
That's one of the reason why I choose to stay at home instead of going out on Sunday. Too many ma-lak-lous squatting along the walkway or sitting on the railings and looking at the girls, ladies and even obasans (age 10 to 60, regardless of size and appearance) "Tsk tsk tsk.. Moi moi, pigi mana moi?".
Obasan - Middle-aged women
If you still don't get what I mean, just go to the bus terminal in Bandar.
Do you still remember SL won a POWER RANGER MOBILE PHONE from the same game last year in KB Bazaar?
You wouldn't believe how well the business was. There was a kid waiting for his turn to spin and the stall owner asked him to wait another 30 minutes!
Wah lao.. Buy donuts also don't take that much time lah.
And later the uncle convinced the kid to play the Ping Pong game instead.
And that kid won a packet of Lee Fah Mee noodles from the Ping Pong game! Paid $1 for a $0.70 noodles... well, I guess the thrill of throwing two balls cost only $0.30.
Still, better than that stupid Power Ranger Phone.
Then there was another game, Ring Toss.
Instead of using perpendicular sticks, the vendor used soft drink and fruit cocktail cans! And the prizes for this game is way better than the ping-pong game. I saw a foreign labourer won a packet of 3-in-1 instant coffee mix and some other groceries.
Now, $1 for those are more worthy.
Its just like gambling, either you lose your $1 or you win something. And from my point of view, the above men you saw in the photo were just hoping for luck to arrive so that they can buy cheap groceries, bring back home and show to their wives.
Wonder if they did check the expiry date label.
Went to CAM for our favorite snacks...
Roti Kertas!
Its crunchy like potato chips and less oily!
*yum*
We would order only 1, knowing its not enough and fight for it and later order another one if we still want for more.
Then when we're on our way back, we decided to check out the noisy car show..
Saw a lot of cars with high potential ear-deafing, heart-stopping sound systems and can I ask something?
Do all car lovers like BLUE? I see blue lights everywhere!
Headlights, room lamp, under the car, and even in the car boot!
Last year we have waterfall in the car boot...

..and this year,
TV!!!
Er, tell me what's the purpose of having a TV in your car boot?
Oh I know I know!
1. Putting up the sign "If you can see this TV, please kindly horn me to let me know my boot cover is not properly closed".
2. Asking your wife and all your kids squatting on the floor and watch Sponge Bob when there's a power failure. Lawa kali ah, everyone will thought that the whole family is cuckoo squatting and looking at a open car boot.
3. My TV is too precious to keep at home. I must bring it everywhere I go to keep it safe.
4. To entertain your friend when convoying. Text him/her while driving...
"Yo Wang, check out Mawi's new MV!"
.
.
.
Well, I don't know anything about cars except it can bring me around, has 4 wheels, feed on fuel, service every 5,000 km and pay insurance and road tax annually.
My eyes nearly popped out when James told me some car rims cost $6k!!! I kept on muttering, can buy a super PC already, can pay for my fees and enough to makan the whole year already, why on earth people wanna spend 4k on steels and irons used on a CAR!
Have money, go buy Tiffany or Tag Heuer lah!
Haih. Thank God the boyfriend knows nothing about cars.. He can't even differentiate CX7 and CRV! But ask him any scores of the premier league, managers, coaches and football players.. he can even write you an 10k words essay.
The music was so loud and there were kids.. or young adults shuffling!
Ya, shuffling in Seria car park next to the creepy Marina cinema...
For a moment I thought I was in Miri Balcony...
