My Collections

Some like to collect designer's bag.
Some like to collect branded watch.
Some like to collect prepaid cards (Easi Cards, Digi Cards, what-so-ever cards)
Some like to collect cosmetics and perfumes.
Some like to collect lovers (Boyfriends/ Girlfriends/ Mistress/ One-night stand)
Some just collect DUST and SPIDER WEBS.

Just kidding~ ^(oo)^

Remember those compositions that we all wrote about "My Hobby" or "Kegemaran Saya"? I used to fake it. I bullsh*t that my hobby is collecting stamps.. bla bla bla bla..

My real hobby is collecting CASH!!!$.$

(Isn't that everyone's too?)

But seriously, there’s something I’ve been collecting since primary..

It comes in various types of colours, shape and size, it’s made out of rubber.. Mmm huh..

Don’t you go guess that I’m a condom collector ah!

I collect.. ERASERS..
(used to called it “Laa-Ber” when I was a kid)

Not those square square, white white STAEDTLER Eraser. Nor those laa-ber that school canteen sell, like this..

These laa-bers erasers give me nightmares.. I ever rub my homework till the exercise book koyak (torn) and I have to redo it.

I collect 3D one. Like this

My collections

Lastly, my favorite of all time!

(Please click to enlarge.. Please Please Please
It's really something!)

Cool? I swear they are all real erasers.

Normally when I show my erasers to my (ex and present) boyfriends, they looked astonised. Not much of my friends had seen this except a few really good one.. I think it's a bit embarassing.
(A 23 yrs old collecting colorful erasers.. you sure it doesn't sound funny?)

How did I started? Thanks to my mum, whenever she went shopping, as long as she sees any funny or chalie stationery, she'll buy it. (That's one good advantage being the only child, folks only has one child to spend money on so normally they'll be a bit generous). As times goes by, one day I came to realise that I already have a box of it.

My collection is not complete yet. I want SUSHI ERASERS! Anyone wanna buy it for my birthday? It's cheaper than those what I listed in my birthday wish list tho.

Consider about it.

I sucks in Action Games

Nonnie says:
Kennysia made fun of the Adidas World Cup Football and Adidas gave him a package of freebies!
Skyler blogged about an entry about what Star Movies will be showing and she get something too.

Jealous! I want freebies too!
Why didn't I get anything? I shouldn't had blogged about Nasi Katok and Pasar Malam, instead I should start blogging more about TelBru, DST, B-Mobile, Excapade, Iora, Incomm. Then "inform" them I blog about their products and services and hope I'll get something f
ree in return. Kakakakakaa.

By the way, those companies employed staff to read blogs everyday is it? And how come they so li-hai know the addresses of bloggers? Spy kah?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's true, I'm a GAME-IDIOT!

I think I'm suffering from a disorder called "My-limbs-just-don't-listen-to-my-brain".

Any games involved reaction and speed, racing games, fighting games, DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) and even Puzzle Bubble.. I suck at it.

I can only play games that's slow and doesn't involve any responsive gestures like "The Sims", "Mahjong", "Othello", "Solitaire" and "Spider Solitaire".

Yesterday Kelly and I went to Theen's place. She has this SuperMario game installed in her PC. I played it. And.. I can't even jumped over the first "LongKang"! Bugger..

But seriously, I’m good at it when I’m playing Super Mario in my gameboy. I passed thru all the stages leh!

Not only Super Mario, I passed thru all the stages in "Power Rangers", "Crayon ShinChan", "Tiny Toons", "Felix the Cat", ...... (will add more when I remember)

I think the old Game Boy is designed for Genius like me. Nyek Nyek. Other games consoles totally sucks! Con money only one. (Yes, I dulan so I wanna say like that, cannot ar?)

DDR is a like torture to me. I totally sucked at it! My feet just don’t listen to my orders and I feel like sometimes they nearly get strangled!

Everytime when I played with Theen & Kelly, that two lousy friends would laugh at me, tease me and make fun of me. But, kasian them also, if they’re playing with me, they can only choose the songs with3 feet” difficulty level. Anything more that that, confirm I “FAILED” in less than 1 minute. Terrible leh? I just can’t seem to use my foot to step in time, in the correct spot, or used the correct limbs. Everytime they passed the stage with an “A” or “B”, my eyes glow with envy like those Japanese Anime girls and du-lan why am I so lousy at it.

Two aggressive orang gila playing DDR

Err... People.. If you guys see this book, you can buy for me..
(If this book really exists! Keke.)

Conclusion:
Action games not ngam me. For people gentle and clever like me (I feel like vomitting too), I play games that uses Brain. Hahaha!

Mid Autumm Festival is coming !

It was not till today that, while I was driving alone up BSB for a meeting, listening to AiFm (Sorry, Not a fans of local radio station because I think some local DJs are damn lame and exaggerating), and a whole lot of mooncakes advertisement on air lah.

Click HERE to know more about the stories and myths behind.

Mid-Autumm will be on 6th October this year! WooHoo!

I love Mid-Autumm (or most of you prefer to call it Mooncake) Festival.

Playing with lanterns, admiring the round-and-round moon, running around, eating mooncakes and peanuts..
Bloody fun can.

(Except for the lantern burning part)

My mum used to buy me those batteries-operated lanterns, with musics and blink-blink lights when I was a kid. But I kind of prefer the traditional paper one, which I always accidentally burned the whole thing off...Yea Yea.. I'm clumsy..

One more thing, I really don't understand why adults.. (ok.. I know I should be consider as an adult too now) love to give each other mooncakes.. It's like.. so troublesome!

Mum: Hey, later company me go buy mooncake ah.

Me: For what? Buy so many later no one eat put in the fridge and seh-kor (mould on it)

Mum: Aiyah.. so-and-so auntie give us mah, must "return-gift"

Me: Haiyooo~! Why so mafan? I give you, you give me, in the end you still get back the same thing. Waste money and time nya...

Mum: What to do.. Chinese like that one lar..

Me: .....

(And justnow my mum just asked me when is Bobby coming back because she's buying him and his family Amway's mooncake.. Gah.. I think that's the n-times I told her no need to bother, because later Bobby has to buy back another box and "return gift".)

Yah, justnow when I was watching the news on TV, I saw this very interesting (Taiwan) news.

Former Democratic Progressive Party chairman Shih Ming-teh (施明德) had organized a mass sit-in aimed at pressing President Chen Shui-bian (陳水扁) to step down. And they follow the old history that happened 600+ years ago! They gave away mooncake in the press conference and inside the mooncake, there's a little paper with the message: "September 9th, Anti-Chen Mass Sit-In!"

For those who don't know what happen 600+ years ago that had related with the Mooncake festival, here.. Read it.

The history

The Mid-Autumn Festival also commemorates an uprising in China against the Mongol rulers of the Yuan Dynasty (12801368) in the early 14th century. As group gatherings were banned, it was impossible to make plans for a rebellion. Noting that the Mongols did not eat mooncakes,Liu Bowen (劉伯溫) of Zhejiang Province, advisor to a Chinese rebel leader Zhu Yuanzhang, inserted a piece of paper with the message: "Rise against the Tatars on the 15th day of the Eighth Moon" (八月十五殺韃子) in the mooncake. On the night of the Moon Festival, the rebels successfully attacked and overthrew the government. What followed was the establishment of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), under the rebel leader Zhu Yuanzhang. Henceforth, the Mid-Autumn Festival was celebrated with moon cakes on a national level.

See, that's why I like Taiwan political news.. I watch them like some Dramatic Entertainment News!

Steady Leh?

A little something:
I think I'm anti-social. There's 39 people online in my MSN but I chat with none of them! Maybe it's because I'm really afraid of awkward moment having no topics to continue..

Example

ABC: Hi, long time no see
Me: Hi. How are you?
ABC: Fine, how about you?
Me: I'm fine too..
ABC: .....
ABC: So, you working now?
Me: Yeah..
Me: ... (MSN on idle mode) *Thinking whether I should continue chatting or just make up some excuse and put my status "Busy" or "BRB".

I'm not good in making new friends or maintaining so-called Friendship I guess.. I feel better with my old mates because they know who am I deep inside and I don't have to put up faces. I just don't know how to "please" people. But at least I'm nice and honest. Unlike some bloody b*tch who act so nice in front of you, turn their heads and start to back stab you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Am suppose to blog about this months ago but I keep on forgetting it.

I think it's kinda funny and cool.

Question One~

What do you do when the aircon switch is your car rosak and the whole thing came off?

Ans:

You customize the knob and
get the mechanic to do the wiring.

Question Two~

And what do you do when you just can't close
the drawer of your dashboard in your car?

Ans:

You install a latch!
(Like this! *Points above*)

Sat Sat Beh Chio right?

Err people, those pictures taken above are NOT from my car ya, they belong to my ex-company's cars.

I think my ex-colleagues are really creative.

What you think?

Random La Di Da

Short Talk:

People.. You MUST see this! Rumour says it..
Bert & Ernie are gay partners!

(Yes! The Bert & Ernie from Sesame Street who has a rubber ducky!)

People, please kindly use Mozilla Firefox to view my page. Because if you're using IE, it'll
seem super Cacat.

Thanks Kenny for telling me that.. and remind me that my hand is gatal and I like to kacau the settings.. Muahahaha

I got myself a little something and Kelly asked me to take pictures and blog about it before I spoilt it...

Darn.. What am I? A super spoiler ka? Know what, if I went shopping with my besties Chaiwen & Theen, they forbid me from touching any galssware. Whatever I want to see an
d hold, all I need to do is point it and they'll come to my service..Like a Princess huh?

Okie.. I went to Miri last last last last Sunday (I think?) and guess what, Theen and I are going to have a make-up class. Nyek Nyek.

It was quite a good bargain. RM300 for:

- one make-up course
- one free facial treatment
- and so on (see for yourself)

Not bad huh for RM300?

Honestly speaking, I'm not "that" into make-up.. Currently, I only have 1 mascara, 1 foundation cake, and some "No brand" eye shadows and blusher.. And my make-up skills sucks. So I took the lesson, part of the reason is because, it's such a great deal.. (the Kanebo facial care whitenning set cost RM100+, and the eye shadow as well.. Bloody expensive!). Taking this lesson save me quite a lot and good also what, got professional teach.

But the watch is a bit too .... girly and big for me to wear.. Anyone wanna buy it? Hahaha.

Man, I've changed! Since when I start to wear "powders" and "paint" on my face? Nevermind, Bobby had already seen me in my worst and ugliest. I'll look only better in his eyes for now.

Me: Nope. Haven't release yet leh..
K: *Pass me her pen drive* Nah, I got it already..
Me: Wah lao!

Jay Chou must be super "DU LAN" now.

An album that's suppose to be released today.. kana pirated sampai like that.. And I bet it's already in 65321 people's hard disk and playing in their Winamp or Windows Media Player now..

Man... Music Theives nowadays super Ganas leh. How did they manage to get it?

I despise their piracy act.. but.. but.. I'm just a human after all.. I care for my wallet's feeling.
If it's good, I'll buy the original one I promise.

By the way, hey residents of Brunei, the "shop" in Gadong with the largest number of pirated stuffs got sell it already ah?

*I'm listening that album while blogging this.. Very "Jay-Chou" as usual)

I've long forgotten

How I spent my day without Astro and Espeed years ago...?

I realised, everyday when I got back home from work, the first thing I search for is either my Astro remote controller, or push the "On" button of my PC.

I spend hours and hours infront of either the tv set or the monitor...

I feel vulnerable without them ..which makes me feel so uncomfortable and unhealthy.

I didn't have these things years ago.. How did I kill my time?

When I was a kid, I climb the trees, catch tadpoles from the longkang, played Police & Theif, cycled around the neighbourhood like some kurang-ajar kids.. What to do, my childhood playmates are boys and they refused to play Barbie Dolls with me bah.

When I was a teenager... (Bloody sad.. No More "Teens" for me liao.. Gah!), my days are filled with extra classes and tuition classes. Most of my precious time in the afternoon are wasted used like that. During holidays, I'll go ChaiWen house and spend my whole afternoon there, watching "Super Sunday" or chasing TVB dramas. Sometimes we siao-siao go bake some cakes and biskuits. With really good weather, we'll walked to Supa Save buy ice creams and walked to the beach and stay there. I can even tune into local radio station, listen to it and make paper crafts (Origami) whole day.

And now I'm an adult. I like to read. Sampai my mum tells me that when I get married, my books will be part of my "jia-zuan" (items that company kahwin to groom's house). I bring a book with me wherever I go. I remember there's once that I was reading in my class and kana caught by my lecturer. He was so bloody angry, scolded me till "Dog blood spill head" (Chinese Idioms) and embarassed me in front of the whole class. Till today, some of my lousy friend still will mention it out loud and take it as some kinda jokes. Not funny kay...Kanasai..
I also have an art block and keep it as my scrapbook.I write my thoughts in it, I draw in it, sometimes I read some really nice articles from the newspaper, I'll cut it down and paste it it.

(I'm such a good girl isn't it. I don't drink, smoke, and even go clubbing.. Sometimes I wonder how come I never did something really really crazy in my life? Nevermind, I don't have to go look for them, crazy things happen on me automatically..)

But I realised.. I haven't been doing all this for quite some time.

One of these days, I'm gonna do myself an experiment.

No TV and PC
for one whole day...

and see how I cope with it when the boring-worms in my body squirm out and strikes.

Can I really tahan 24hours without TV and PC? Oh well.. I'm gonna check up with the calendar and fix a day now.

Can guess?

Cute?

Know what is it?

Need a little hint?

Ans: My house phone

Ring Ring Ring

The phone is so bloody short, that everytime when I talked over the phone.. I have to cover my mouth and shout... Because everyone complained that they can't hear me..

Friend: Hey King, later go where-and-where ah.

Me: OK. Just tell me the time.

Friend: Ha? What? Cannot hear you.

Me: I say OK. Just let me know the time.

Friend: Ha? WHAT?

Me: HAIYOOO... I SAY OK! JUST. LET. ME. KNOW. THE TIME!

Everyone, news flash.

Nonnie's new birthday wish.. Cordless Phone Thank You.

I'm so gonna miss the old place.. Seria Mein Tang

It's pretty sad to see this sign...

Yeap. Mein-Tang (translation: Noodle/Mee Stall) is moving. Thank God not closing but just moving...

Seria is pretty famous for kolomee. Cheap and nice. I don't quite know it till I stayed in BSB 4 lovely years, and all my Chinese friends always asked me to tapao Seria famous food like kolomee, guo-zhung (Rice Dumpling) and ... Ops, I forgot to mention "Char-Kueh-Tiaw"

(Don't worry, no pictures of food in this post)

The Mee stall is, *sorry, I have to use "was" already* located next to the bus station, where you can always see pigeons "Gruuu Gruuu" there and people feeding them corn or their expired Gardenier bread. The annoying thing is..
the pigeons pooped all over the place..

There's a mixture of Malay halal stalls in front and the non-halal Chinese stalls from the middle towards the end. Walking along the long cemented rocky road, there constantly some auntie popping out of no where asking you, "Miss, you want to order? What you want to drink?"

Sometimes I think it's annoying.. Because I prefer to order after I settled down and find myself a seat. But, sometimes it's really fast and convenient if you placed your order earlier, your drink served right away in front of you once your ass touches the bench.

I can't seem to find any related history about Seria Mein-Tang. I don't know when was it being built, who built them and so on.. I tried Googling but no relevant results that I'm interested shown.

If anyone know, share with me yah.

Honestly speaking, I don't find any problems with the existing Mein-Tang.. Except for the unhygenic environment and poor ventilation..

B$1.50 kolomee or fried kueh tiaw, B$ 0.50 of Teh-C-Panas, hot and sweaty feeling, the drinks-lady telling her partner the orders over the walkie-talkie, familiar or unfamiliar faces sharing the same table and same bench eating, a lot of uncles wearing coveralls and smoking and gossiping about their Shell-contracted companies...

Damn.. I miss the scene..

I didn't get to grab any picture of Mein-Tang when business is still running there. I feel so much regreted. Not that I don't want, but I was too late, I didn't know till 31st August, the day they closed..

(Hey, eventhough I stay here, doesn't mean I'll know everything mah. My daily routine is just go work, come home, and stay at home the whole day. Where can I go? I don't even feel like going to Seria Plaza because it's embarassing. Ask any youngster from Seria and I'm sure they'll say the same.)

I took some pictures of the abandoned place... And, 5 minutes later, I walked to the new one, which is just a block away...

First thing that striked my mind..

"If no one tells me that this is a food court/stall/mein tang, I'll think this is an Ugama or some government office.. The renovations.. is ...so... Malay!"

Oh comon', you gotta agree with me.. See the windows and the entrance.. Malay kan?

(Hey, not offending or saying anything bad about Malay buildings k, don't be so sensitive yah)

Once I stepped in, mmm.. why feel so different from the outside one?

Most of the Chinese stalls are not opened yet because I don't see any familiar aunties and uncles who sell nice food to me..

But there are some Malay stalls that's already doing business, and I can see some coverall-uncles pon-chang (translation: buy in Canotonese)

My mum told me that some old hawkers are not satisfied and complained that the unit is too small.. So they're not moving in till it's being re-renovated.. I have no idea how true it is, but I don't think they can do so tho..

Walked around the place, snaps some pictures... It's pretty sad that, it's only 1 day old but the floor is already full of rubbish!

Cheh.. if it's gonna be like this.. the whole thing means nothing at all then.

We're just moving the stalls from an old and dirty place.. to a new place.. and dirty it again..!

I got a question, since both the Malay and Chinese stalls are moving into the same place, how weird would that be?
Their stalls are just located opposite to each other, one selling Halal Malay food, the other one selling non-halal one.. Can ka like that?

--------------------------------------------------------

I can feel a lot of people staring at me.. while I was taking these pictures..

Maybe they're thinking that I'm a reporter...or tourist?

Maybe they're thinking hard who is my father and mother?
(Seria is damn small and everyone knows everyone!)

Maybe they're thinking that I'm orang gila that just got released out from RIPAS ward 5?

Maybe they're thinking that I eat too full got nothing to do..?

Don't care .. I'm going home.. (Yes, I purposely came to the town just to snap pictures because I know I'm gonna miss the old dirty meintang)

While I ignite my car engine, I look at the street.. thinking..
"This street used to be so crowded that drivers have to drive so carefully to squeeze tru. But now.. it's so Empty"

Just a little note:

For ChaiWen my bestie, whom were suppose to take pictures of Meintang 3 years ago just to show her angmoh boyfriend, but didn't get to do so because she feel very malu... Here, you can show this to Shane now dear.

I know there are people who think that I'm very wu-liau (boring).. taking pictures of Meintang.. But I'm happy for what I did ah. At least I can show to my grand children next time and tell them stories. Bleh
