Short update

Missing me people?

I wanted to blog about Theen's birthday actually but I haven't get all the photos yet taken by other people. So, wait la har~

But.. I guess I can give you people a little sneak peek.

Theen's boyfriend had requested all of us to wear Y E L L O W !

*Frown*

Yes! YELLOW! The not-so-popular-color for clothings. Don't believe? Go and open your wardrobe and count how many Yellow shirts (and I guess hardly any pants or skirts) you have are YELLOW color.

99% of us actually purposely went to town and find a yellow shirt to wear. Bobby and Mabel are two of them. So freaking tired after shopping with 2 different people at two different time just for a yellow shirt. Mind you, even yellow is the least popular in boutiques.

Look at us, all in Banana color.

(And some people cheated by wearing the pale yellow that-so-close-to-white)

If only I dare to wear those over-worn and damn loose tees after being washed for 1542times and slowly become yellow. Hahhaa. Nah, I care if my student, and also people I dislike saw me in the street wearing so lauyah. Kiasu you know?

I wore a stupid 2nd hand tee (which I got from mum's friend) with a shiny teddy bear.. Bloody ugly!

(I don't want to buy any yellow cloth as I'm tan.. I'll really look like poo-poo or Banana-Chocolate in Yellow)

Anyway, for you I will, Theen.

The girl who I've known since 1996. (Woh.. 10yrs liao)
The girl who laughed over nothing at all like a sa-poh. (Silly girl)
The girl who baked me a birthday cake.
The girl who wake me up every Sunday and bugged me to eat breakfast with.
The girl who annoys me calling me "nono" everytime I answer the phone..

-_-"

Me: Hello?
Theen: Hello. No ah? NoNo? No ah No?
Me: What Pig-Theen?
Theen: No? Nono ah..... (inserts whatever she wants to say)

Irritating or not? Everytime also "No" here "No" there then baru talk to the point. That's my silly friend.

And NO! You all can't call me "NONO"!

p/s: Am going to blog more after I get all the photos. Don't want to alang-alang post 3 today, post 5 tomorrow and post the remaining the next day.

Annoying blogging trends

Lil update:
Been a bit busy making something for Theen's birthday, and meet up with old friends. Hehe. But here I am, to blog and entertain you~
____________________________________________

[Ed: It's just my rants. Don't take it too personal yah]

I sure hope that I'm not getting any hate comments from this entry! This is purely my finding and my own opinions. If you agree, you can laugh and nod your head reading along the lines. If you disagree, you can click the "x" button on the top right corner.

One more thing, I'm not pointing fingers to any people here. Please don't feel "ter-rasa" from what I said ya. =^_^=

Please promise to love me and my blog still..

Duh... I'm such a coward lar...

Ok ok.. getting near to the point liao.. Sabar people, sabar!

I just want to make sure you all won't get offended by this entry bah, as I really love my readers..

Ready?

Promise to love me still?

Bah bah bah.... Don't "x" yet! I'm blogging I'm blogging! Don't leave!

(Take a deep breathe)

* * * * *

I've been blogging since.. erm... April this year I think. From 0 readers, 0 comments to now, making a lot of friends thru my blog. That's the best thing my blog ever gave me I think.

However, being someone who keeps a blog (I don't call myself a "Blogger", it sounds too professional liao), I blog-hopped a lot too.

... (Long pause)

AIYAH!!!!
I also beh tahan myself being so loh-so (long-winded) like an old hag!

Straight to the point lah!

* * *

It annoys me when I read blogs with a lot of photos with no captions. It's like, is this a photo album or what?

(Note: beautiful photos from professional photographer excluded here)

* * *

It annoys me when the fonts is so damn small that I have to "Ctrl and + " everytime.

(Not you
Rebbe, I still manage to read yours without "Ctrl and +")

* * *

It annoys me when I can't find the buttons to explore the page.
(Stupid blogskin)

* * *

It annoys me when the paragraph is so damn colorful like testing whether I'm color-blind or not like that.

Example:
Roses are Red.
Violets are Blue.
My blog is cool and so are yours!

* * *

It annoys me when people use short-forms or SMS language to blog.

Example: lyk, tym, u, lemme, gimme, on9, l8r, @, lub, and so on..

* * *

It annoys me when the text is funny using all those ASCII codes, symbols and small caps and big caps campur together.

Example: I w@nT tO t3ll u tH@t tH!$ iS nOt cOoL bUt |)@mN 4nNo¥inG!

* * *

It annoys me when people blog their quizzes result especially those from blogthings! It is fun to play I agree, but.. I don't really care "What pattern is your brain" or "What's your monster name" and especially "What kind of blogger are you".

I'm not blind, I can read your blog, and it tells me what kind of blogger you are.

* * *

It annoys me when people asked question when it is already stated in the blog entry. Err.. if you really want to comment, make sure you read the entry fully. Don't make a fool out of yourself.

Example: Xiaxue had already mentioned where she got those diamonates but still people asked, "Where did you get those pretty things?"

-____-" (Bang head against wall)

* * *

It annoys me when I saw jokes that we received from forward emails for like.. 10 times already.

Make me feel like asking,
"You really got nothing original to say/blog kah Mister/Miss? "

* * *

It annoys me when I saw too many camwhoring photos in an entry, like.. self-advertising kah? Yes, maybe you're handsome or pretty, but.. no need like that kua? At least say something, let people know you still have a "brain" and opinions too.

* * *

Pause:
Damn! I'm so gonna get this! I'm such a meanie!

* * *
It annoys me when people comment on the tagboard and not the "Comment Box" ! Tagboard is for visitors to leave a message or chat, not to comment about entries.

If you have something to say about the post, hit "Comments". Don't be lazy.

* * *

It annoys me when people comments mindlessly having the intention of hoping for more comments in his/her blogs.

Note: I say "MINDLESSLY". I have to say that I feel glad that currently, most of my readers are smart.

* * *
It annoys me that the person is blogging so highly about herself saying that she's so nice/good/innocent/kind/and so on when she's actually bloody rude and impolite in real life.

(This is pointing personally to a relative of mine.. Ya, I hate her. And I laughed at her entries reading her bad days!)

* * *

Now tell me, do you still love me? Even if I'm so mean in this entry?

Will you still visit my blog and comment?

Do you hate me now?

or.......

You're loving me even more?

(Die... My muka so tembok)

Hahhahhaaa. Relax people, it's FRIDAY!

Thanks Iwan! I got the perfume already.

Receiving two bottles of perfume for my birthday, makes me wonder...

I've been thinking about that question everytime when I look at my perfumes lying on my desk.. They're all given by others. None, not even one I buy myself!

My Happy (Sun) Day

Lil Something: Happy Birthday to Sing Yin! May the best fall upon you.. Wait, I think it happened already, because you have me as your friend! Hahaha. My muka-tembokness strikes!
__________________________________________

I know I'd been blogging a little serious lately. I need a little break, I need to go jalan-jalan and not stay in my 3x3m room whole day.

Feli's back, Chau, Ping and Ye says wanna belanja me makan. Okie, BSB I'll go!

p/s: This is going to be a boring post if you have no interest in knowing what I've been to and what I did yesterday.

I gave them very short notice of my arrival. Hehehe. I just MSN them that I'm going to BSB and 'book' them for lunch. And after 1.5hrs, I reached their door steps.

Picked up Chau and went off to Lemon Grass (Thai restaurant). Once again you may asked, "What can vegetarian eat at Lemon Grass?" Plenty! But there are mostly green lar.

[Ed: I'm NOT a vegetarian, just "part-time" nya]

I seriously don't know how to eat Petai!

Ping act innocent

Do they look like sisters? I think Chau and Me look more alike, small eyes and chubby (fat & big) face.

The two lousy sisters go and "throw" the leftover food on to my plate and asked me to eat it, says it's for my "Belated Birthday"

-___-"

How to eat? So gali leh...

Can you see what's inside?
Century Egg + Green chilli + Red Chilli + Tomato + Salted Egg York!

Eng popped by and brought over a bag. And rushed off saying that she's having another meeting later. A bit disappointed lah, not having Eng with us.

Then I saw the bag, and asked..
"For me one kah? My birthday present leh~"

So thick-skin right? Aiyah.. like we always say.. so "masak" already, no need pretend-pretend one liao.

(Masak - know each other well)

Obviously the gift was prepared very last minute due to my short notice of arrival! Hahahaa. Eng was the heroin who bought the gift because Ye and Ping were in the shop with me and Chau had no transport to go out. =p

After picking up my car from my favorite car wash place (pic as below, cheap and clean) Mabel and I went to Gadong for some shopping (for Theen's birthday) and wait for Feli.

Recognized this place? Tips- Batu Bersurat

Feli arrived after 30mins, the Mall is just so boring and we had no where to go. So we went to Swenson for a drink.

Don't ask me. I also don't know why my friends are all so pretty.. prettier than me at least. I'm always like the green leaf of the beautiful red roses. Guys called me not to know me, but to know my friends better! And that's always the case... Hehehe. And that happened 7 years ago, when I have no "market". Hahahhahaa!

After that, I went to my cousin, Justina's place because I want to get some baby cloths for Orange's baby. Fast or not, full month already!

On the way...
Imi and Justina have this little side business of selling baby stuffs at their home.

I know, when I say "side business" and "home", you all must be thinking, "Cheeww.. must be like 10~20 cloths like that, take out from boxes someone one lah.. Nice meh? Not much choice also...". HAH! You're so wrong!

They have the nicest baby cloths there I tell you! Not only cloths, they have swim suits, socks, shoes, hats and cute undies~!

And.. the important thing is.. it's all from UK! London okay! Not Ulu Klang or Ulu Kapit I mind you.

More beautiful and nicer than Mothercxxx and BeBelxxx. Oh Oh! Cheaper too! If any of you want to know where is it and the contact number, leave me a comment yah.

Okie, let you people see the things in the room that nearly got me suffocated by kawaii overload!

Can I wear this myself instead of my (future) daughter wearing it?

I was so busy "Wah" here and there taking a look at those cloths and forgot to snap pictures. There's this cute short black leather skirt that I think it's super cool and feel so much like buying for my (future) daughter! And Mabel want to buy an Army-look shirt for her (future) son.

The cute puppies under the car

Oki, done with baby cloths shopping, and by this time you all should feel a bit sien by reading this post liao.

Yeah Yeah! It's baby visiting time!!!

When I last visited Jun Hou, he's only 1 day old.. Look at him now, so chubby and round~

Orange said he gained 1kg in 3 weeks time! Ganas!

Orange Mummy and Auntie King
Oh yah, saw Eshyn too. When I saw her, I said..

Me: Hello Eshyn. Call Ah King Yi Yi
Eshyn: Don't want.
Me: Eeee.. Want la want la. Ah King Yi Yi bought you a very beautiful dress bor
Eshyn: Don't want.
Me: =( Please lah, talk to me lar.. Call me Ah King Yi Yi lar..
Eshyn: Don't want.

(Feeling a bit upset)

Orange: Eshyn kuai~ Call Ah King Yi Yi lah.
Eshyn: Don't want.
Me: Eshyn, my name is not "Don't Want". You only know how to say "Don't Want" meh? Hehehe. Come talk to me lah, I don't want to hear "Don't Want" oh.
Eshyn: ... Don't Want.

(Bang head against wall)

Nevermind, let us all see the 1mth old one, still very young, at least won't "kek" me.

* * * * *

Finally got back home. Tired. Looked at the bag (my birthday gift) and wonder what's inside.

First thing that came to my mind,
"Don't tell me they get me Raya kueh and biscuits oh.."

Second thing,
"Or red pens + erasers + tipex/blanco/correction fluid"

Okie, enough guessing.. Read the birthday card first.

Here, I saw two messages that caught my eye.

"You should be glad the gift not cut from magazine"

"Something from your wishlist"

Hhmm... Easi card? Photo frame?
Aiyah.. don't want guess liao, open and see.

OMG! Gucci ENVY me~

Really, people.. "ENVY ME" now
for having such great friends.

I really like this perfume! But don't know why, I never spend a cent on buying them for myself. Meaning, I won't buy perfume from my own pocket, all my perfumes at home are given.

Aiyerr... I love them so much lah. I know everytime when I go to Chau's room, I'll be fascinated by her perfume collection and grow so envious and say.. "Eee.. I like this smell lah."

Forgive me, I need to camwhore a bit.

Thanks Ye, Chau, Ping and Eng! I miss having lunch with you all lah, fighting for the salted egg and anything nice from the "ringkat". That one hour lunch break is always my best time of the day.

* * * * *

Okie, fast forward to today. I received a package today! From Singapore.

Must be from Christina's.

Opening the envelope
So cute the badges! And also the sticker... I love the sticker so much, a crown and the word "lovely" on it.

"Lovely King"
My lovely birthday card

Inside the card
No Christina, your handwriting is not messy at all~

And guess what is my birthday gift? Something I wanted so much. Something I ever mentioned in my blog. Something that will (sort of) complete my collection..

Can guess? Nyek nyek nyek. If you know me well and read my blog often, by this time you should be able to guess it.

The Sushi Erasers that I always wanted!!!

So cute~
Thanks a lot Christina! I love them so much! You can't possibly imagine how I smiled and laugh seeing the erasers.

It's really really sweet of you to get me those. The most important thing is, you saw them and bought it knowing I'll like it. Really got "heart" lar.

Feel so happy lah, one week after my birthday I'm still receiving birthday gifts. Hehe, still waiting for one last one from Iwan.

* * * * *

Oh, just want to show you all what I've bought yesterday.

Earrings
In case you didn't notice, the other pink "thing" beside the pink leaf is "Strawberry". And did you saw the duckies?

Yeah. I bought it because of the duckies actually.

I realised that I've been buying younger and cuter stuff lately.. Maybe to make myself feel better and restraining myself in thinking that I'm getting older kua?

So, hehe. That ends my post. Bye Bye.

Sekian terima kasih.

Happy is an Attitude.

Please allow me to say a little nonsense before I blog about my "topic" (See the title for this post). I just feel like I need to babble a little.

On last Thursday, I cancelled my class for Primary 1A due to the reason that GCE O'level exam was helding at the lab next to my class. I know that my "uncontrollable" kids were sure to make (a lot of) noise since they're still very very young, marah also no use.

So I walked into their classroom and handed them each a piece of paper and asked them to draw freely with no topics. The way my students will put it is "suka-hati".

The next photo that you'll be seeing is my favorite piece!

A ship dropped an anchor and break a submarine into half! Not bad huh? Well.. I don't know what is the shark and chopper for thou. Maybe the chopper for rescue and the shark waiting for it's meal.

(Primary 1 only wei, when I was primary 1, I think I can only draw matchstick man!)

When the rest of the class were drawing Naruto, cars, (for boys) Princess, house, butterflies (for girls), this is really a rare piece. While drawing, he was giggling and making all those funny noises like, "He He He", "Thiuuuuuuuuu", "Boink!", "Ka Boom"!

It is just so simple for a kid to feel happy.

* * *

Oh, and I baked Pizza today!
In my new oven! (My birthday gift remember?)

With nothing but button mushrooms, pepperonis and mozilla firefox, oops.. I mean Mozarella cheese "kau-kau"!

(Translation: "kau" here means "thick")

Seriously, not to pujuk-sendiri, it really tasted nice. Well, maybe not for Kelly 'cos she came late and ants in my house had an earlier taste of it.

* * *

Oh, another thing. I'm very very very VERY,
extremely happy today!

While I was munching my pizza (as above) in front of my (soon-to-die) monitor and checking my mails. Guess what, I received an email from Mr. BR, he asked for my permission to link my blog!
OMG! My blog link at BruneiResources (dot) blogspot (dot) com!

So happy that I think I nearly pengsan. Is it true? I read the email twice to confirm I didn't get the meaning wrong. Then I replied Mr.BR (in a stupid manner.. I clicked "Send" too fast and realised I can't "Back" anymore..) Log out and log in my email account again to see whether the mail is still in my inbox just to comfirm.

(By this time some of you might be thinking..
"Gila kah orang ni?"
)

Hehehe. My link is up in BruneiResources!

I'm happy not because my link is up there... No, correction. I do feel happy about my link up there, but I felt happier because Mr.BR is reading my (stupid) blog.

My blog, the blog with no deep thought, no meaningful quote, sometimes boring and meaningless. Oh, I forgot to mention, poor grammar and vocabulary.

* * * * *

Okie, now.. back to the topic. Happy is an attitude.

Nisah's free-range eggs. I like the smiley.

Honestly speaking, I wasn't feeling happy lately. Nope, nothing happens. Just that I'd been thinking a lot, especially after reading Nisah's *entry* about her relationship.

I talked a little to Bobby and he asked/adviced/comment whether I should take a break in blogging because I can't seem to organise my thoughts and I think I blogged "crappily". <- If there's such word

And I felt even worst hearing that my friend is having some sickness.

I felt that, life is short..and fragile.

She's very strong. If I was her, I'll probably complain about God not being fair to me and sobbed whole day long. But she's different, she choose to face it bravely, accepting what God has arranged for her.

We choose to think it this way.

If something bad happened to us,
that means God thinks we're strong enough to handle it.

Pray for her my dear readers if you're seeing this.

And today when I was chatting with a friend,

Friend: From where you get those weird things to write in your blog?
Me: Huh? You think I blog weird weird things?
Friend: Weird weird idea lar...
Me: Like blogging about a roundabout?
Friend: The coffin car.. The Poki Pig..
Me: So you think my life is interesting?
Friend: At least not boring, you can always find activities to do.
Me: My life is boring too, just tat I choose to think it's interesting, so I can be happier.

It's true. I'm having a routined-life too like everyone else. Wake up, go to work, come back from work and stay at home the whole day if no one ask me to go out.

Just that I choose to live my life in a happy "angle".

I feel happy remembering my students said I look "lawa" and my student remember what I taught previously.

I feel happy if I found a nice parking.

I feel happy if I get a bigger portion of food from the restaurant.

I feel happy if I saw rainbow(s).

I feel happy if there's no big trucks/ lorries in the highway when I'm going to work.

I feel happy when it rains.

I feel happy when strangers smile to me.

I feel happy for the littlest things happening around me, even for the traffic light turning green when I was reaching the junction.

Maybe you'll think that I'm stupid for feeling happy for these small matters. But if I have a choice, to feel grumpy the whole day or keep a happy mood, I'll choose the latter.

Of course, if I can dine-in in Empire everyday and driving a Lexus RX350 I'll be much more happier, but I'm fine with eating Nasi Katok and driving my Corolla.

Some people see me as the "happy-go-lucky" and optimistic person and asked for my secret.
The key? Contentment!

I do complained about life, complained about people, complained about everything. But my mum always remind me of the less fortunate and says I should treasure what I have, whether it's good or bad.

I don't look attractive? Then I put a smile on my face to draw people closer to me, thus earning me a number of good friends (and blogmates too!).

My house is small and looks crappy? At least I have air-con in my room, Astro and PC with internet connection.

My boyfriend is not good looking? But he's a cute, good and romantic, a man that every girls dream to marry. (At least I think so)

I'm fat? That's because I'm being well-fed and never starve from hunger. Lucky aren't I?

My eyes are so small? Hey, I think they're special and at least they function well giving me the ability to see.

See? That's how I brain-washed or talked to myself sometimes when I'm feeling down over things.

Happy is an attitude, the way you see your life, the way you choose to think.

Some people own the biggest house, drive the fastest car and marry the prettiest wife (or handsome husband) but still feel unhappy.

Where as there are people who lives in a small house, eats the cheapest rice and are still driving the 20 years old Toyota are feel that their lives are meaningful and happy.

Good or bad, happy or sad,
you decide.

p/s: All the photos of flowers above are all my mum's lovely flowers. I was bored one day and so brought my camera out and snapped pictures. And if you want to know, I'm not using a SLR camera, just my Lumix FX8.
