Confucius, the Chinese thinker and social philosopher.
One of my favorite teaching from him is.. 己所不欲，勿施於人, which means..
"What you do not wish for yourself, do not do to others."
When I was way younger, I thought the teaching means what you don’t want, do not give others, as in in terms of materials, based on direct translation. And few years later, my fellow Garden Circlings finally enlighten me on that quote and told me what it actually means.
So yeah, I hate people being late so I’m usually punctual or early. I dislike people giving me negative thoughts hence I try to be a positive person. There’s still so much to learn from him.
