By the way, I'm supposed to edit some of my trip pictures yesterday when I got home. Sekali.. My PC rosak... Be-la-di!

(When I says Be-la-di, I'm actually trying to say bloody)

I took the ram out, clean it, put it in different ram slot.
Try to on it, still cannot..
For the whole night, I sometimes just try my luck and on see got miracle or not.
Cheh... don't have also.

So, I bring it to office this morning and asked my colleague to help me check.
Kanasai!
Can on lah.
MCB. Why it always happen?

I believe everyone has that experience.

When you try to on it or play it at all. Cannot. Rosak.
When you bring it to the repair shop, *Ta Da*. Works perfectly!

Pasar Malam - Kiulap Park

BE-LA-DI (bloody) day!

Plan to cook porridge for Bobby but everything got screwed up because of "her".

Who's "her"? Erm... a "relative" and/or "someone I have to obey in office".

(You clever people, friends of mine can guess who am I refering to already lah. Nyek Nyek)

I feel so damn motivated to cook. Right after habis kerja, I went to Hua-Ho and buy minced chicken and pickled radish to go with the porridge. Then on my way home, I realised I left out my dearest Telur-Masin (Salted Duck Egg) and dropped by the Kedai Kahling to get them.

Don't you just love the existance of Kedai Kahling? (So sad, no 7-11 in Brunei wah, and Kedai Kahling is something which resembles it liao) Where can you find a shop open till late late with everything inside? Eventho the tin cans may seem dusty and food inside look like wanna expired liao, but still.. even 7-11 also don't sell salted egg lah~

*Dum Di Di Di Di Dum Dum, Da La Da La Dum Di Di Di Dum Dum*

- Humming a happy tune
- Open the door
- "Bloody hell.. she's in. And worst, using the kitchen.. CB!"

The feeling is like... I'd dress nicely carrying my sweet little lunch basket ready for a picnic, then it cibaily rain.

-__- "

I hate to use the kitchen after her, damn dirty. She doesn't cleans up after cooking and eating, leaving the leftovers, bones and those saucesnicely on the table and wait for the poor maid to clean it up the next day. What a woman huh~

So, in the end.. Bobby suggested that we'll go venturing in Pasar Malam.
(Well, that's the best place for nice and hot super cheap food)

And... it turn out that it wasn't Bobby's day too.

He broke his car alarm.. the controller I mean.

The "open" button (middle) doesn't work. Bobby broke the contact or something by pressing too hard.

He did try to fix it.. by open it up.

A weird set of tools found to open it up

Using this,
*Ta da*. The "body" of the alarm scattered everywhere
See that, the middle one is missing. This little tiny chip/contact or whatever you called it,
broke.
You don't expect us to glue it back right?

Have no choice but mannually disconnect it. Pathetically, we have no touch light and end up like theif using our (outdated) mobile phones for some lights. The alarm "Tiu Tiu Tiu Tiu" non-stop once we open the car door... Damn annoying. And.. Bobby forgot the combination of steps disconnecting the alarm. He was in the car like a mad man keep pressing the brake, clutch and accelerator and I buried my head into the car as well to "light-up" my mobile.. It took him almost 10mins to finally get it done.

So kasian like we're trying to steal the car...

In the end, Miss Nonnie King has to drive. Bugger! Well, I wouldn't complain driving if it's just a normal day. But now, we're going to Pasar Malam, where all those stupid car owners simply park their car beside the road blocking the way and causing traffic! And, my car is a mannual one somemore.. Really press the clutch till leg cramp ah.

Hmm.... The Pasar Malam in the Kiulap Park seems quite happening ey.

And it looks better than the Bandar one

See what I say about Bruneian loves decorating trees with bulbs?Blueberry tree wannabe

Sorry, anyone know the name of that park?
Or that fountain?
There's Bouncer,
A teletubbies one...A man-eating one to be precise

I'm just being bored

Tasconi Pizza
With not much customers

Hand bags and other ojipala things
(Obviously Made-in-Thailand goods)
Wah Seh, got people performing on the stage lagi...
Er.... Singing Dangdut....

And... Some "Over-Syok-Sendiri" guys
shaking or wriggling their butts...

Man... While other bloggers are blogging about the concert they went to.. Me, on the other hand, blog about Men shaking goyang their butt listening to dangdut.. How pathetic!

Sigh... This is Brunei... What to do?

See what I found~
They actually customised T-shirts, stickers, and bla bla bla..I think? The person in charge is not around and that's what the guy standing there told me. Left my number to them cos I wanna make a customised car sign.

Maybe this,

or this?hmm..?

Or,

"You sell CD ah? On the music so loud for what?"

"I'm a female driver, you should give way"

Muahahaaahaa..

Suggestions anyone?

Walk one round... don't see any nice food we like..

End up going to Gadong Pasar Malam. The best Pasar Malam in Brunei! Wooohooo..

Look at this
The legendary $1.00 Nasi Katok.

I remember once a supplier from KL came and was curious , asking us, "What's inside? It's only $1.00 what?"

What's inside?

- Nasi of course (Rice)
- One (something big) piece of chicken (Masak merah or fried Chicken)
- Some veges
- Sambal

All for B$1.00 only~

My fav, Keropok Lekor

Saw this, new flavour worFor those who don't know what is Kueh Malaya,

this is "Kuen Malaya"

For me, I'll describe it as "The Malay pancake with peanuts"

My customized flavour,
Peanut with Chocolate rice~The hawker asked if we wanna try on the spot.
Of course we do, can't wait already.

Yum Yum

The nice hawker had make our kuen extra crispy. Maybe because I was friendly and cute. Muahaha. *Puke*.

Yummy~

Day 1 - Arriving in KL (04.07.2006)

I feel excited (or more like kan-chiong) about the trip the night before we took off, sampai cannot sleep. Adedee...Lame isn't it. I wake up every hour to check the time and scare I oversleep.. (Kasian Bobby who's sleeping beside me lah), in my mind I keep on thinking whether I packed this or packed that into my luggage already or not. Then the next morning, my mum asked me to bring vitamins and other supplements, the "Fu" water (my mum a bit pantang one ba), and also "lau-sai" pills scared I ciri-biri. And Bobby on the other hand, keep on asking me if I remembered to bring my passport, my flight's itinerary, hotel booking reference and bla bla bla. "Yes dear, the only thing that I didn't (but wanted badly to) bring is you". Awwww.. So sweet huh~ (Syok sendiri again)

That's me and my dear full-time boyfriend, part-time driver who have no choice but bring me here and there.

Ya la ya la. We fat lah.
Or like Bobby says, "big bones".. with super chubby and round face.

King, ChaiHsia and SukChin in Miri Airport

See the somboi (sour plums) in both ladies hand? Two Big Packets somemore~ Kiasu leh.

Four of us in the flight.
The kanasai plane with lousy aircon..
What to do.. cheap air fares.. cannot complain..

The two person on the lower row, SoonLung and ChaiHsia are brother and sister.
Jie-Jie and Di-Di I mean.
ChaiHsia, look at the camera wa~

Wonder why the stewardess wanna put her eye-shadow like that sampai look like a raccoon~!

She's consider a pretty liao in AirAsia, I mean.. it's clear to me that she's a female. Some I ever see.... Eh.... Make-up so thick till look like ah-kua (pondan or ladies-man I mean).
I bet even mosquitoes also can bite their face with their powder on.

*Singing*
'Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane
I don't know how much I'm gonna spend
Oh babe, I'm gonna be so broke~

I feel so bored that I even forced SukChin to play the animal chess with me on the plane.
Weird... no one ever play this game before when I asked.

Of course SukChin lose lah, she's a noob.
I bully her~

Arriving in KLIA, LCC Terminal...
As usual, AirAsia, have to down the stairs and walk walk walk.
(Didn't take any pictures cos sibeh hot, was walking fast to get sheltered)

A normal taxi (like Proton Saga or Wira or Waja) can't fit our luggages in.
4 of us having erm.. 8 bags already?
Having no choice, we need to get a bigger car
(or I should say, taxi).. like van.

Us in the taxi, a Renault I-dunno-what-model.
This ChaiHsia ah, take picture always look somewhere else one wor.
And SoonLung look like he mata-culing.

Check-in the hotel, drop our luggage and quick quick go grab a bite lo.
(AirAsia sells Maggie cup noodle for RM6, the Hot Bowl for RM7, Soft drinks is RM5, Nasi Lemak RM7 or 8 I think, Chocolate bars also RM6 like that. So expensive that I rather tahan my hunger)

First meal in KL, Nando's Chicken.
Because SukChin loves it.
(She even stole the menu and bring it back to Brunei and put in her room on her bed's side table lagi~ SsssshHhhhh.. Don't say I say one ah. =p)

After eat full full, got energy to shop liao lor.

That's me and ChaiHsia resting in the fitting room.
Damn tired can. Not a shopping-queen material.

Had our dinner in Teppanyaki or what-so-ever.
Kinda regret going there cos it's really smoky (I just washed my hair that night)
The floor is slippery because of the oil.
And the cooking si-fu is lame. Haha

I thought I saw Skyler there too. (Saw a middle-aged woman (her mum maybe?), a 17 or 18 yrs old looking-so-impatient thin thin fair fair teenage girl (Skyler ah?) and a 10 or 11 yrs old little girl (who may be her munchkin that she always mentioned in her blog.) But neh.. Couldn't be her lah.

Oh ya, back to the cook. Why did I say lame? After he served our food, the so-damn-lot of taugeh with teppanyaki chicken/beef, he placed his cooking utensils, which is a pair of spatula like this...

And try to make them stand on the table

Like this...
(Sorry, can't find any spatula at home, so just use the spoons and agak-agak imitate lah. You understand can liao.)

And the cook bowed to his customer.

SoonLung and SukChin saw it, Turn their head to us and says,
"Jiang Fei De?!" (Translating: So lame one?!)

And the funny thing was...
Right after he bowed and turn his body around, the spatula fell down!

It's kinda awkward lah, the cook have to turn back pick it up and go to the kitchen clean it.

Moral of the story: Don't "Ek-Seh" bah... later something goes wrong very malu one.

At the end of the day, we planned to go to Jalan Alor (the famous street for hawker food that everyone told us must go there eat) and check the place out.

The Street of lengzai and lenglui..
Why? Cos everyone working there was like...

"Leng lui, Oi Sik Fan Mou?" (Pretty girl, wanna eat here?)
"Leng zai, lei li tou chor lah" (Handsome, come and sit here lah)

Just one street, I think I kana panggil at least 10 times leng lui liao~
Hahaa. For people who feel bad bout how they looked, go there.
You'll feel like you're Miss Hong Kong. (Kidding only ah)

Wu, Coconuts~

Feeling so tired, heaty and constipated, we all find a fruit hawker, drink coconut and eat a bunch of bananas there..

And so.. the next day in the morning, I had a good time in the toiler sh*tting~

Day 2 in KL, to be blogged soon... (Don't asked me how soon.. cos I also dunno)

Pasar Malam - Bandar

Sorry for the delay in updating my blog. I can see a lot of you anxious to read liao wo~ (Or it's just me being "perasaan" again. Nevermind, ignore me.)

I'm not going to blog about the KL / Thailand trip yet cos I haven't got all the pictures from SoonLung and SukChin, which makes me a big moodless to blog if I can pick the best pictures out. Yea yea yea, I very "macam", cannot ah?

So, you read the title and know what I wanna blog about liao lo. Yeap, Pasar Malam. The annual Pasar Malam being held in Bandar, Kiulap Park, and the place opposite Sheraton Hotel. Sorry lah, I really don't know what's those places name. But I can bring you there tho.

I got back home (well, not actually "home", more like "the house I stayed in Mata-Mata") last night, opened my room's door and... nearly PENGSAN (fainted!). I so lihai and clever, buy a tray of egg and leave it in my room, then go makan angin. Then, the eggs got rotten. Damn smelly.

Like hundreds of people farted in my room and close the door to "preserve" the smell.

*Hin* (Pengsan)

Okay, back to the Pasar Malam thing.

Every year, for Sultan's Birthday celebration, I don't know for what reason(s), we'll have pasar malam here and there. Maybe they try to make it like a fun carnival, but it always end up selling panggang chicken and fish kua?

Darn Traffic Jam! Took me almost one hour just to reach there and find a parking

Me: Which Pasar Malam you going to tonight? Bandar one, Kiulap one or the opposite Sheraton one?

Colleague: Don't know?

Me: Go all ah? Where got time oh? Traffic jam till you gila. I also don't know why they wanna have so many Pasar Malam. All same also. (Panggang and Air Tebu, Roti John and Kebab)

Colleague: What to do? Brunei has no entertainments ba. Maybe they wanna make it into like some sort of carnival, but it all ends up with food.. Sigh.. Bruneians can't do anything better other than eat ka?

Me: Maybe that's why Bruneians are mostly fat and obese? Hahahaha!

(I'm just joking... Well.. Not exactly joking cos I somehow mean it also~ Bleh)

Another mystery. Why Brunei like to decorate the trees by hanging and wrapping lots of bulbs around them? Sui kah like that? Look so.... "kampong" lah

See, green and purple trees like kana poisoned

This one lagi teruk, like a HAUNTED GHOST TREE that some woman wearing all red hang herself like that

Conclusion: Bruneians love BULBS! Hari Raya, National Day, any ojipala important day, just go to Hua-Ho or Soon-Lee buy meters and meters of bulbs and hang all over your house.

See, bulbs again!

At least got something different also lah,
BIG BIG HANGING POSTERS!

Reminds me of Thailand. Thais love their king to bits! Even inside the taxi you can see the taxi driver put a photo of their king one. Those tall tall big big buildings have their king's face on everywhere also.

I like this. Sultan look so "genki".

Pasar Malam, always look like this.

Selling these ..

Oh... I miss coconuts of Thailand a lot lah..

..these..

Panggang Chicken wing, tongkeng, ikan and so on..

.. these ..

I miss Keropok Lekor the most when I'm in Thailand!
And I thought I can finally have them yesterday.. till I realised..
I did not bring my wallet!
(Lucky no road block.."Mana IC? Dreveng Lesen?")

.. these ..

Better than Burger King! And not to mention, a lot cheaper too!

.. and you'll always see these ..

Beach balls ey?
Silly-looking inflated Hammer and baseball bat
Wah seh! Blue color Dinosours! I scared~
(So sarcastic lah)

And I wonder why, I can always, (never missed!) seeing Power Rangers in Pasar Malam!

Go Go Power Rangers! Mighty Morphin Power Rangers!

Kawaii neh~
Err..?
Wah Seh! Shoes lagi! I think this is the first time I saw a stall selling shoes.
A little story to share:
Bobby told me that when I was taking picture of the stall, those people actually (or maybe) thought that I might be some kinda press or reporter. They all stood up, pose and wait for me to snap it. Hmm? I didn't know till Bobby told me when we left the place.

He says he feel kasian for the little girl who didn't get in time to rush in to the crowd and be inside this pic. Haha. Think too much.

Well, I forgot to mention. I was wearing shorts and a tank top, with the camera strapping around my neck. Make me look completely like a tourist, or reporter maybe? Aiyah, don't care lah. People who know me will know what I was doing, people who don't know, let them think what they want loh.

Oh, next picture is the clock.. Erm.. Does this clock have a name?

I didn't know the renovation or repairing is for decorating the clock when the road kana blocked.

Pass by Sheraton Hotel. So Christmas feel with all those blue lights..
Like winter and snowing like that.

Nothing much to say about the next picture. Just feel like putting it up cos I think it's nice.

Picture taken when Bobby's driving along Jalan Kiulap with the long stretch of Blue,Purple and Green lights.. So weird.

Oh. Sorry ah. Most of the pictures turn out blurry and kanasai. I also dunno why.

Wait till I more "eng", I'll go to the one in Kiulap and opposite Sheraton. Hope it's going to be different lah.
Well, at least from the look from outside, it looks better.
