Incredible India: Goa, a little peace of Heaven

Just a short post on Goa before going to the next day because I want to show you all how beautiful this place is.

Maurina and I make a pair of awesome travel partners! We split our jobs, transportation on her, accommodation on me. So, she planned the destination and I’ll look for hotels. Fair and square.

So she choose Palolem beach, a beach less popular compare to other beaches in Goa because there’s not much of a “night life” there. But it didn’t matter to us since ermm… we’re not party animals. We’re more of stalkers, observing people and laughing at our own silly jokes speaking in Malay so no one understands when we mengumpat.

The beach huts.

It’s very basic. A bed, mosquito net (because there’s no a/c, it can get quite chilly at night anyway), no television, no refrigerator, bathroom but with WIFI!

The bathroom.
It has to be designed like that I guess because it’s a beach hut, our feet got really sandy everyday! Like there’s no way you can get clean feet at all.

Our bed for 3 nights. Macam honeymoon banarrrrrrrrrrr

Lo and behold….. we have HAMMOCK!

Our orange hut #13

Sunset… ~~~~~~~I can just sit there and look at the sky for hours!

Cuba Bungalows

I know when most people heard the word “India”, all they can think of is Taj Mahal, crowded trains, unhygienic streets, child beggars… and, coming to Goa add in new words for me, beautiful sunset, beaches, friendly people!

That’s the restaurant by the way, restaurants of Cuba. We ate there all the time because they served really nice food, free wifi and friendly staffs!

Unwinding at the beach after a long day travelling on plane and car.

Cough cough.

Ordered beer for myself just to blend in… *eksennnn* and purposely get a “King’s” just because. Hehehhehehe.

Even the dogs there also sibeh relax~
(We didn’t see a lot of dog poops though)

Wuuu.. gonna get some tonight?

See that bunch of guys on the left of the above pic, that’s the staffs/chefs setting up the seafood BBQ!

Our dinner. Curry prawn for me and … I forgot what Mau ordered.
With a lot of rice! (But I finished them all…. *fat*)

电视连续剧捞饭,我最喜欢!

We ordered some BBQ seafood as well and there’s no point of return!
WE HAD BBQ SEAFOOD EVERYDAY WHEN WE’RE IN GOA AND THE PORTION GOT BIGGER AND BIGGER AND BIGGER! I MISS THE FISH THERE!

and a lot of Israeli music….

And that’s me… with oily hair, sticky face waiting to get a nice hot shower for the next day.
